Ducks would be overpaying. Manson just got resigned so I don't see the Ducks wanting to trade him for so little.

Overpaying?! He’s a multiple 30+ goal scorer that just turned 26 last week. Other than Perry (33 yr old), the Ducks have no one that can score goals like that. Every year they come up short in scoring, not in physicality nor defense, nor goofing it up but scoring. That is in no way an overpayment.

Yes. Manson has the 6th best corsi against per 60 in the NHL along with a great contract. Skinner only had 49 points last season. Ondrej Kase only had 4 less goals than Skinner and is still developing. Add onto this a great prospect in Jones.. no way.

So are we playing the cherry pick stats game? It’s fine if you don’t like the trade but no GM would take Kase over Skinner.
