Fenton Makes His Own "Tweaks"

Created by: BoredWildFan
Team: 2018-19 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: May 29, 2018
Published: May 30, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Granlund goes to Carolina to team up with S. Aho.
Spurge and Koivu make EDM a true contender for the next couple years.
MIN signs Vanek and Green to 1-year deals with the intent to trade them at the deadline.
Staal, Winnik and (possibly) Coyle also go to the highest bidder at the TDL.
Suter and Parise can't be moved.
Kunin and Greenway spend the first half of the season playing top minutes in Iowa.
Anas and Kloos get a look from the start while the young ones are in Iowa.
Fenton keeps Dumba, Brodin, Zucker and Nino as an older core as he ushers in a wave of youth in the coming years.
The goal here is to be competitive, but ultimately miss the playoffs. Letting Fenton build through the draft the next 2-3 seasons.

I think CAR passes on that deal ,Necas is virtually untouchable. Maybe a Granlund for Skinner or Faulk trade would be more of a possibility.

They may see Necas and #2oa as their future 1st line, so yes, they very well could pass. But, since Necas was drafted there's a new Owner, Coach, GM and Hockey Ops. None of which claim any ownership of any player currently in the organization. If the price is right, I'd think everyone on the roster is available.

I think the Great Carolina Fire Sale of 2018 has been quite exaggerated.
