No risk at all in this contract . Rinat is going to be a solid defensemen for Laval for the 2018-19 season

Bergefail doesn't just love his fourth liners. Apparently he also loves bottom pairing LD.... (With Mete and maybe Reilly being the only exceptions to that. Here's hoping another guy on that list proves me wrong)

He’s definitely not top 4 you’re right but this signing, and the signing of the two Czech D show a paradigm shift, to sign younger, faster more offensive players than pylons like Benn, Schlemko and Alzner. I’d expect 2 of the 3 to be phased out by the beginning of the season

Je ne craignais pas son départ pour la Russie comme certains blablateurs r'humoristes de RDS! Je trouve que nous avons là une belle profondeur pour Laval et j'en suis bien content.

Benn requested a move if he was not part of the future of this team so I guess he would be gone by october or in the early months of next season

I have doubts in Valiev is ever an NHLer. But funny, in his limited time in the NHL, I though he more steady, competent than he was being erratic in the AHL. Good luck to Valiev. He seemed to be a popular teammate with the Marlies.

Two years ago woud you have kept Beaulieu or Barberio? You never know. You cant teach youth.

for sure I'd like to see Schlemko go, Benn however I can still see him being a useful #6-7 Dman. imo though there's no room for someone like Valiev on the roster moving forward. I'd want to see Mete and Rielly fight for the second pairing with Petry, with the other going on the bottom pair with Juulsen (with Benn as a backup), and for MTL to acquire someone to play with Weber. Best candidate for all who might be available so far imo is Muzzin from LAK. Him and Weber have already played together during the World Cup and were a dominating force. Would love to see that in Habs uniforms!!

Trade - Weber
Mete - Petry
Alzner - Juulsen
Reilly - Valiev

Benn - Schlemko

They both have to go! Esti!

Engel au cours de la saison, car il était retranché trop souvent selon ce dernier

Je doute que des gens le prenne c'est pas un Rielly ou un Barberio, il est plus un filler-jacket qu'autre chose, d'où ma perception de le voir à Laval!
