Spezza

Created by: Dmh1055
Team: 2018-19 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: May 31, 2018
Published: May 31, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
With Hart and Sandstrom both possibly joining the Flyers or at least joining the Phantoms the Flyers need to clear out goalies since there's no where for two of them to go. Neuvirth and Stolarz are the mostly likely to leave. The Flyers could turn them into a 3rd line center and an upgraded pick.

I like it. It's different from most of these Flyers post.

Personally i agree Philly needs to trade goalies, but i think it's going to be Elliot and Sandstorm going, with keeping Storlaz, Lyon and Hart for prospects and Neuvy as backup.

With trading Elliot we would get more than what we would get for Neuvy,

With trading Sandstorm we get rid of an okay goalie prospect, while we already have 3 more. Hart is possibly the future of the team, and Lyon and Strorlaz show that they're mid tier goalie prospects.

Sandstrom is more than an okay prospect he's pretty darn good, just had some health problems last year. I'd trade Neuvirth and have Lyon back up Elliott. Stolarz needs to prove he can stay healthy again before we should consider trading Sandstrom.

Keep Stolarz, change Dallas' 2nd round pick to a 3rd round pick, and Dallas retains 50% of Spezza's salary. Hell, you can keep your 4th round pick as well.

Yeah you make some pretty good points there. And i must have missed how good Sandstorm is due to so much talent within our goalie prospect pool.

He is our #2 goalie prospect behind Hart I would say.

Well it is good to know, now. And just to clarify i also think that Lyon is a better prospect than Stolie the Goalie.

DAL doesn't really need Stolarz in that trade. Nuevirth would be a good backup, so maybe him for Spezza straight up? Or Spezza for the pick? Or DAL sends a 4th for Neuvirth?
