Can you explain the Detroit Trade? I don’t see the value for them. Combining the NYI and DET trades makes more sense to me

That was a part of the problem, the Isles lack interesting players but have extra picks while I’m seeking a non UFA winger for Jack

Gotcha. Detroit could be looking for a goalie especially if the move Howard, so would they take a chance on Lehner? Nyquist and Howard isn’t a bad duo to bring to Buffalo! Maybe even AA

Did Nyquist die? That’s the only way I see them moving him for that package. He had 20 goals he can bring them more then a bottom 6 guy and a 3rd even with cap relief

Nyquist will be only dealt at the 2019 TDL and Buffalo is in a similar situation as Detroit being a bottom feeder. Don't see Nyquist waiving for Buffalo. But i would't be against something around both Howard and Nyquist for Lehner and another pieces from Buffalo possibly McCabe i guess.
