Maybe become a 7th dman? I think top 6 is too high for him.

7th or maybe just a depth guy in the AHL. He showed some decent play in the 2 games they gave him. He was keeping up with the play at least and seemed capable enough; definitely not going to be a big offensive contributor though.

Considering Edmonton is buying out Gryba, he is Grybas replacement right now

Technically yes, but if the Oilers sign anyone the replacement is Bear. Word is they are looking for a RHD right now and if no one moves then Lowe would slide to 8
