Use this thread to inform either myself or the BOG about any concerns, questions, ideas, etc that you may have. Use this thread only for that purpose please.

Since power should be with the people, everyone should include “TheCommissioner” as a part of their username.

I would like to have a BOG vote on this issue please. It’s about time we have democracy

Mentioned in general thread but no response.

Quote:
Players with fewer than 2 years of North American Pro Hockey experience will be EXEMPT from the draft. These players do not need to be protected in the 7-3-1 or 8-1 formats

That should be "Players with 2 years or less of professional experience will be exempt"

Or does it mean just one year?

I have a question about the roster limitations. It says we must have 15 players with at least 10 games played in the past year but would Fabbri count towards that 15 player minimum? Although he didn't play any games last year due to injury he has 123 career NHL games played and is not an AHLer.

When you get the chance, can you also determine the 30th and 31st draft positions

Also, a page for the 2nd round of the draft should be created.

I believe since he has over 100 (maybe 50?) games total he's alright.

If that Spurg trade doesn't stand, please don't penalize Brett and me a trade for it. I'm not in the right state of mind right now.

Also, once I make one more deal, I'll take my short break. See you at the start of free agency; hope I'll have calmed down at that point.

Yeah the Spurgeon trade is going to be taken down with no penalties

With the Minnesota/Calgary trade issue, both teams will be penalized an offseason trade for redacting it @flamesfan419 @Icegirl

Just wanted to get final confirmation on what is happening with the penalty. Do teams get penalized for modifying trades or is there no forfeiture of that trade?

I was also hoping for some more clarification about the rules for this situation. The rules says:

Any later “changes” made by the GMs without BOG approval must be treated as their own separate trade later on, and will count towards the trade limits.

For this scenario, it counts as two trades, correct?
Thanks

No, it will only count as 1 because they made no attempt to change it, rather they just removed it entirely. Had they changed the trade, it would have counted as a separate trade.

The rules says:

Considering the Commissioner made the final decision to have the trade canceled, after I suggested it as a means to an end, I'd say that counts as BOG approval.

Can we now put this to rest and stop talking about it.

NO rules were broken. PERIOD.

Can trades be reported by GMs? If so, here or through email?

If a trade seems very unrealistic. Don't want to say which trade it is right now though.

Edit: I meant it probably shouldn't be said on-site. Asking if this is allowed first.

All the trades deemed poor or unrealistic will be decided by the BOG and myself only
