Those guys have done what again? Boone Jenner is a verry good role player. Has grit and skill and can play wing and center.

Boone Jenner had 30 goals two seasons ago. Scored 45 goals in junior his last year. Is tough and underrated obviously.

You said it yourself, he’s a role player. Kyrou and Thomas both are NHL ready with elite potential. I’ll take the potential of one of them over Jenner let alone both of them.

I would rather have Jenner. Those guys need time in the AHL. I don't think they are top 6 guys yet and as skilled players that's where they would have to play.

Kyrou and Thomas are both ranked in the top 15 prospects by almost every hockey writer, there’s no chance that Jenner would get one of them, let alone both.

Its about playing a role. They wouldn't crack this teams top 6 for a couple years. You overrate them big time. Jenner is a good third line center option and can play on the penalty kill.

Sure I overrate my teams prospects, but who the hell trades two top prospects for a 3rd line center?

Teams that want to win. Prospects don't always turn into what you think. This team looks pretty good so you should be happy. Boone Jenner is good man, verry solid. He can do a little bit of everything. He played a lot of wing this year on the second line. So he can play up and down your lineup at wing or center.

Center is a pretty important position. So even if you overpaid by a bit it's worth it.

Boone Jenner had 32 points this year, I bet you Robert Thomas puts up that in his rookie year. Also, Matt Duchene got 0 top end prospect in his deal, and I’m pretty sure Duchene is way better than Jenner.

OHL playoff MVP at 18, ranked as the 6th overall prospect by Corey Pronman and Bob McKenzie, but sure he’ll be a career AHLer.

He can't even play in the AHL next year so I'll take your bet. If I win, you stop trading multiple top prospects for 3rd liners. Designing a hockey team isnt a 1 year exercise.

Patrick Berglund had 5 less points in 20 less games than Jenner, would you trade your favorite teams two best prospects for Berglund?
