I saw this trade earlier Kessel for Muzzin, Pearson and 2018 1st. What do you think.

I thought it was a very good deal for Kessel, as you said one of the best I saw. I bring it up because someone responded it was a bunch of junk for Kessel. I could not convince him otherwise.

I think that's a good deal. The hangup for me was that it'd add about $1M to the cap. I set a $78M cap — probably on the conservative side for next year — so that affects things, too.

But Muzzin would definitely be a good addition to the D corps. He'd help on the PK, for sure. Pearson would be a good depth forward, although not quite as much offensive output as Toffoli. Interesting tradeoffs.
