Beer League Hero's suggested trade if Edmonton wins lottery

Created by: Garrett
Team: 2016-17 Edmonton Oilers
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 17, 2016

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Using the Lindros trade Beer League Heros suggested a trade similar to this.. I changed players in some positions for what i felt were better.

The Nuge trade is based on the fact CBJ doesn't have a top Center and has to resign Jones with not much for cap space available. They get a locked in Center and can bridge Jones.

The hamonic trade is based on the Islanders pursuit of Pouliot during his free agency summer. THey offered him one less year then Edmonton at same dollars so i believe they still have interest.

the article on BLH had Edmonton Receiving Strome, Stone, Bunting, Michalek, Hanzel, Smith and two 1st round picks for Auston Matthews. I don't believe he can fetch that much but i went with what i figure is closer.. And i still doubt he would fetch this much to be clear.

Like the UFA signings except for the high price....know that Oilers have cap but Backes and Ericsson, no thanks. Khudobin might be good short term guy.
The RNH trade....I like it. CBJ needs a centre. With a 6m salary, the Oilers either get back a 6m player or two players. Savard would be good for the defence, and if former first rounder Rychel develops, there's a good winger. Bit of a gamble for Oilers but might be worth it. If Isles like Pouilet, they absolutely love Harmonic. Edmonton or who ever has to give more. Yea, that seems like a lot to give up for Matthews. Strome:
Still is projected to be a top NHL centre....sort reminds you of McDavid. Would Strome and the Arizona's first pick (about 7th) do it? From what we read, an excellent prospect in the top 10 draftees this year.
