Not Realistic but Fair

Created by: MeLeenyk_Out
Team: 2018-19 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 4, 2018

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Anisimov trade is fair value although could be tough to convince him to waive the clause in his contract, assume that this trade could be done with any team for the same sort of value.

Murphy trade is more of a long term play as Coburn only has one more year on his contract which will allow Chicago to spend on Sikura and Debrincat (not totally enough but it's a start). Coburn can also be replaced by Jokiharju next season also Forsling will be full time ready by then.

8th overall pick is used (hopefully) on Wahlstrom who in one or two years fits as a top 6 winger.

I don't like Anisimov, but the Habs would be crazy to pass on this giveaway. I'd probably retain some salary and trade him onward at $3M for a few good picks.

Wait, we have a 2nd rounder this year? Stanbo didn't just dump it into a crappy trade for Danault or Timmonen?

Nope we don't have a second rounder. Gave that pick up and Danault in 2016 for Dale Weise and Fleischmann. In this case the second rounder is the return on Anisimov.

Ahh, derp. I was looking at it thinking it was our pick because it head the indian head, so how could it be lit up that way if it was traded to us? But of course it is, because that's the one Stan traded.
