This team is better than the Oilers were last year. It still needs help at D - I suggest moving the Oilers 2018 first and a prospect for a guy like Faulk or, better yet, Porayko.

Also, I don’t give Nurse dollars and term after one strong season; let’s bridge him and see what we have after 2-3 years.

I wanted to focus more on forward depth, as I think that's what really killed them last year. With their 2018 1st hopefully they can get one of Dobson, Bouchard or Boqvist, which might not help next year, but will help out the D long term.

I'm not a big fan of bridge deals. I think Edmonton should get Nurse locked up now, or else they'll be paying him a lot more in a couple years.
