that's not that unique of an achievement. anybody could reason that, in any given year, the top few scorers under the age of 27 in the KHL, the Liiga, the SHL, the Czech Extraliga, or even the Swiss National League would draw NHL interest (e.g. Pär Lindholm, Michael Lindqvist, Henrik Haapala, Saku Mäenalanen, Ville Meskanen, Vincent Praplan, Tomáš Hyka).
