FILIP Zadina is a LW, so Deslauriers would be the odd man out, move Scherbak to a line with Zadina and Danault

Zadina played the WJC on the LW of Necas but played the whole year in Halifax as RW.

These 3rd and 4th lines are what you which for as the 3rd is a great ''shutdown line'' with offence potential and that 4th brings a lot of energy AND is defensively responsible.

Drouin will be the perfect playmaker for Zadina who is the purest goal scorer of this draft.

I just hate seeing Scherbak being the odd man out after the brilliance he showed last year with the little time he was given. I think he can make an immediate impact, most likely more than shaw or deslauriers

I think Andrew Shaw will start the season on LITR.

Jake Evans will be a good player, but I highly doubt he is ready for full-time 2C duties straight away. If he survives training camp, he will likely start as a depth bottom 6 player and work his way up. Considering the rebuild, he may get looks but I don't expect his ice time average to exceed 10 minutes this upcoming season, and that's assuming he stays in the NHL for at least some period of time.

I was giving you my perspective of a "surprise" best case scenario. Not sure Evans was ever projected as a top-6 guy to begin with, but he's a pretty decent skater, with decent hands.
