Description

Edmonton trade: Habs move down to select centre in Kotkaniemi and receive Klefbom, Oilers trade up for cost controlled elite winger in Zadina who can play with Draisaitl, also receive speedy 3rd line player in Byron.

Arizona: not sure what Yotes would want for Domi. Just kinda threw a bunch of assets at them to see what would stick NHL 18 style. Please chime in on what it would take to get him.

Blues: two late 1st rounders for Patches, assuming he signs an extension in St Louis.

Rest of the trades are just dumping defensemen for later round picks to clear cap.

Easy no from Edmonton. Byron is a 29-year-old 3rd line winger with just 1 year left on his contract. He's not anywhere near the value of Klefbom. The value of #3 over #10 doesn't make up the difference.

Drouin with something retained instead of Byron might interest the Oilers.
