Don't play dmen on their off side: it substantially hurts their play. Leave McDonagh as 2LD, and sign a new 2RD (I suggest Cody Franson at $1 million for three years). Backup can be whoever, so get someone on a 1-year cheap deal.

McDonagh would be my pick to let go. He's not gonna play 1LD with Hedman, and Sergachev can take the reigns as 2LD. Sign a new 3LD (Martin Marincin at 2yrs/$800k would be my pick) and that gives you cap space to sign a decent backup, too.

Run Hedman-Stralman, Sergachev-Franson, Marincin-Foote.

I like the not signing JT Miller, that saves $. Unfortunately we can not trade Killorn. He has a NTC. Now in the 20-21 season we can trade him because it becomings a Modified NTC and then we can try and move him.

@Wrestlingfan5 I love the idea of resigning all the guys you did and for the amounts, very realistic amount I think.) I like the move to let JT Miller go to save money. Trade his RFA rights now to get some value back. He's probably worth a late 1st or early 2nd round pick. Here's the problem, if we resign like you did, we will not have cap space for resigning Vazy and Serg. Not to mention Foote the following yr. Granted we will have Callahan's contract coming off the books but it's not enough for both vasy and serg. My fix (its just my opinion) Strals and McD are gonna have to take less or whats more probable is we let one of them walk/trade one of them for some value. Need the $ for Serg which has higher value. We can keep and grow Dotchin or Koekkoek as a cheaper option. I personally like Koekkoek more but for some reason Cooper doesn't. Also we have Foote (which you wisely used.) Keep an eye out for Walcott, McBain, and Thomas with the Crunch too. Our team is ready to win now but the future is bright as well. GoBolts!
