First trade it terrible. Why would oilers do that.

Why because of all the two way forwards Edmonton is stocked with? Edmonton has plenty of young skill, they need sandpaper. They get Komarov who can play up and down the lineup and can actually throw a body check, they get Hunwick who is solid in a limited role and they get Brown who is a solid right winger prospect. Instead of trying to troll everyone why don't you suggest a better trade?

I am just curious on your reasoning. I don't see anyone on toronto oulers would want for the younger key players unless we are starting with Morgan Riley but Toronto wouldn't make that trade.

Plus for the price on romantic polak I think they could get Jason Demers.

7.5 to backes. That's a huge over pay.

The guys from the leafs are the exact type of players the oilers needs. They needs stability they need toughness or would plus they get a prospect who did win the OHL scoring title last time he played with McDavid. I would say maybe the leafs could add their second 1st or a high 2nd rounder to even it out. Show me a trade that gets the oilers what they need?

I would rather have Polak, less injury prone.

And yes 7.5 for Backas is a huge overpayment. But I dont know where youre looking but I dont see a huge lineup of good NHLers just waiting to sign with the Oilers on July 1st. Thats what you have to do and thats the type of player they need. Backas would give Mcdavid and Matthews more time to develop their two way game.

Eberle for Shattenkirk is not a good trade, Eberle is not a fit for the Blues at all.
