GMTD will like this because you traded for O'Reilly but you didn't trade enough for him. Thank you for your post.

GMBots says I appreciate the interest..... but that package though high in quantity will not get you ROR.....

I would suggest building a package around Trouba & ROR.......

ROR
Buffalo's 2018 2nd Round Pick #32
SJS 2019 1st Round Pick

for

Trouba
Perrault

WPG would then be filling one hole by creating another. Trouba isn't moving and though the value may be fair, WPG is in win now mode not building mode so it's not about draft picks anymore expecially when Trouba is involved.

No worries in nixing the Trouba deal..... I think GMBots can get a better quality return elsewhere for ROR..... Carolina or Montreal come to mind..... Little's contract and term are an albatross in my view.

We don't need ROR, Statsny, or any other >5M centres. Roslovic has more than earned a crack at 2C next October. And we sure don't need another perennially injured dman to eat cap when we need to sign Laine, Connor, and Wheels.

I’m not going to pretend to be Botts but it seems like your are just dumping bad salary on Buffalo for ROR. It doesn’t hit on any of Buffalos need but then you throw in picks to balance it, but they really don’t add much at all

Buffalo isn't getting much in return. Little and his contract will be an anchor possibility in the future.

Not the salary. He's a produces offense and plays like a pretty average 2C and making average 2C money at the moment. Just the term. That part is rough. The nice part is he can be Seattled at the next expansion draft.

Basically I think wpg needs some grease in top 6 forwards and some muscle on bottom pairing 5 of 6 not changing little holding spot down to roslovic ready but there’s still missing what Wilson brought to Washington and Neal brought to Vegas the two foot random bounce greasy goal and also they r missing the Orpik or mcnabb bottom pairing guy that would do whatever it would take to win hopefully Stanley brings that on the entry still hoping for an angry big body for top 6 forwards but we will see love the site thanks for the insight

Possibly be Seattled.... if he is not then I have an issue with a contract term and value the Sabres really will not want for a 35, 36 & 37 year old..... in 4-5 years the Sabres will need that cap room for the Dahlin's of the team.... right now I have ROR at $7.5 a year through 22/23 when he will be 32 yo..... the big factor is there is no NTC or NMC attached to ROR.... Little has a NMC that will be enforce for the Sabres he comes at a cost of $5.3 a year and he will be 3 at the end of his contract......

I think the Sabres are better off with a no NTC/NMC on ROR than Little and the other pieces. The Sabres can afford the $2.2 per year in extra Salary with ROR.

Not interesting. I think trading ROR should be on a different scenario, either for one player of comparable ROR level or 2-3 young asset plus choice.
