That value is a little off, maybe make the pick a 1st and throw in a 5th or 6th and this is an extremely fair trade iMO

Pass from Carolina,

Carolina doesn't need another D-man (they're looking to move one to make room for young guys)
so Forbort doesn't add value to CAR

Skinner will pull a first and a Prospect (like current rumors of Skinner to FLA for 15 overall and a prospect)

LA's 1st and Iafallo would be closer to fair value

Anderson-Dolan is pretty highly regarded in LA, so I can't see the Kings trading him away for only 1 year of Skinner.

The Kings aren't going to trade away their 1st round pick (that's what got Lombardi fired), so that's a non-starter too.

I could see the Kings trading Toffoli and a 2nd. He's locked up for two more years at a reasonable cap hit, and with Kempe and Vilardi looking to be the 2C/3C combination of the future, Carter will likely be moving to the wing, giving the Kings an excess of RWs.

I like it for the most part however, I think we should keep Thompson he's a very good 4th line center. Have you seen him on the PK? Wicked. Literally, wicked.

I haven't seen Thompson on the PK. TBH I miss a lot of Kings games due to the fact I'm far east and those games come on super late. It was more of a cap movement.

I get it. I hope he'd be willing to take less if we resign him because he's the best 4th line penalty killer we've ever had in my opinion
