Maybe the team still have Green jersey so they save money too. That's way, way too much of a return for a back up goalie.

Not really it’s pretty fair. Grubauer can be a starter next season look at what Anti Raanta got last year.

Carolina isn't trading the 2nd overall for Grub, gee they won't trade 2nd overalll for many NHL starters. And you want add 5.5m Orpik.

Oops I completely forgot that the pick was 2nd OA for some reason in my head I thought it was like 15-20 my bad.

maybe make that 1st rd pick from carolina 2019 and top 15 protected and i believe thats a good deal.

I'm gonna give you a couple of stars for the legit reason of making the Green signing 'cos you still have his sweater......come to think of it....maybe the Avs may soon have Ray Bourque, Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy & Peter Forsberg back out of retirement if I have anything to do with it squinty smile !
