Nice thought but I don't think AZ is ready to consider letting Strome go yet - at least not for that package. He's still one of the top 5 highest ranked young C prospects outside the NHL

You're probably right...but with the 3OA they will pick a top winger that will allow them to place Keller to center, his original position.
And the right side of defense isn't Yotes' strenght...Juulsen will help them in the near future.
MTL can add Michael McCarron instead of a 2nd pick...

You just have to look at Rick Nash trade and what NYR got in return...Pacioretty is better than Nash...

Boston overpayed though and everyone knew it. the pick or Spooner (take your pick was to get rid of the Beleskey contract)

TDL is always inflated on price. Boston paid the price because they felt they had to. Offseason prices come down and are not as inflated. Pacioretty is decent but he had a bad year. Not to mention he is also in the last year of his contract. Jenner still has 2 years of team control. Jarmo loves his draft picks. He holds high value on them. What you are asking for is way too much.

best thing for montreal is to re-sign patches and maybe trade him later on... his value will be higher because he is signed.... i would like to see patches play with a legit #1 center before we trade him.....only trade we do is get or sign a #1 center if we can't then trade down from 3OA to get 2 ist rounders and draft the best 2 centers available... that way you chances are much beter of getting one..... my preference ifsto trade for one though
