Description
Not just talking about players here. Ownership and management needs a severe overhaul considering how much nonsense and vitriol has come out of the Senators since the onset of this past season. Clean house, get LeBreton underway: by the time the team starts to be relatively good again, the new barn will be ready. Sell the city and the young players on that idea. Everything gets better starting now.

First round of the draft is using The Athletic's mock 2.0, the Vancouver 2nd round pick is using mynhldraft.
#4. (RD) Evan Bouchard (London, OHL)
#22. (RW) Serron Noel (Oshawa, OHL)
#29. (C) Jake Wise (USNTDP, USHL)
#37. (C) Allan McShane (Oshawa, OHL)

I don't exactly agree with the picks as-is, but considering that none of Ottawa's 1st Round picks should be within the top-10 next year, it makes some sense to load the organization on centers now and use next year's picks on accessory parts. One of White, Brown, Chlapik, Batherson, Wise, or McShane can develop into the #1C this team needs down the road. Given the increased opportunity, Rask might even be a top-6 center. Who knows. Bouchard is going to unfortunately be pegged as a Karlsson replacement for the rest of his career; it'll be up to the Sens organization to either develop him into just that, or help him blaze his own trail in the league.

This team is going to stink for at least two years. I can't see them being as bad as Detroit next season, but they'll be in the bottom 3 in the league for sure. The saving grace for next season is when their lottery pick gets bumped to #6ovr instead of #1.

Godspeed Sens fans. As an Oilers fan, I know the pain of beyond-inept management. But this is so much worse. The fans don't deserve this and I really hope you guys get the best outcome here.

Even with your Hoffman conditions being met, i just don’t know how he will fetch a decent return anymore. The Blues might consider a B prospect like Blais or Schmaltz, but probably not Fabbri. The main issue is that the Blues locker room isn’t in the best shape currently, so a Hoffman addition has the potential to destroy it.

Fair point. I think Fabbri is a for-sure piece in that trade just because of the risk associated with his injury history and whether or not he returns to form. The late 1st I don't think is a huge ask either considering the Sens are taking Sobotka's money back too. It would really depend on how well Hoff moves on from this situation,

Bugger, I forgot to sign Fabbri.

Injuries or not, St. Louis could do better than that for Fabbri. I think he alone could pull Hoffman, or a top 6 winger from a team hard up for centre depth.
