I'd heard that the Coyotes were trying to trade Hickey's rights, but I'm still surprised Buffalo didn't just wait until August 15th. guess they wanted him that badly. Mike Sislo'll help in Rochester as an AHL vet, though.

as for Fasching, he doesn't have eye-popping stats, but he's 22, and he'll probably fit right in with all of the young players in Tucson. pretty low-impact deal all around, but, if you screw up these kinds of deals as a GM, you're not goin' far.

I reside in Tucson, and Sislo was a favorite of mine. Great two way forward, it’s a shame he has likely no NHL future.

Fasching is gonna be a solid top 9 winger! Don't know much about Hickey, but I do like Sislo. He is a strong player.

Fasching was not a fit for Buffalo, good player but not what we need right now. Hickey is a gamble with unknown upside, time will tell. Sislo will help our AHL team win, a culture BOTs desperately wants in Rochester before prospects come to the NHL.
