Only figured since Fox is a stud and if the Caps have any hope of signing Carlson they will need Orpiks contract gone. Orpik on a buyout still hit 2.5 million to next years cap space and another 1.5 the year after. Calgary could take his full cap for 1 year without Washington having to take another NHL contract back.

I think that Leivo for Stone is fair value, but Leafs have to determine if Stone's $3.5M can be fit under the cap for the next 2 years. I see it as a problem in 19"20!
