Bennett instead of Frolik and I would make this deal, Gaudreau one of my favorite hockey players.

Pass for the Sabres. I'm only willing to trade ROR and I only want Hamilton from that package so lets just one for one

Interesting trade, but I would agree with bus driver that I'm not sure this actually makes the Flames any better. I think Calgary is giving up more talent, but getting back more grit and the intangibles about even out. Since the Flames would be getting back 2 centres for two wingers that kind of balances off them giving up the best forward and the best D in the trade. I doubt I would do it as Gaudreau's dynamism is not replaced and I think that would hurt the Flames considerably. ROR is good, but he is not leading the team, neither is Stastny, even if you could sign him. Interesting, definitely makes you think, but I believe the Flames would try and make it work here first with Gaudreau.... at least another couple of years.

Value is not there for Calgary on a one for one. Easy pass.

Five stars for wanting O'Reilly. This trade is so heavily skewed in favor of the Sabres I cannot believe any Sabre fan would hesitate. Hamilton led all defensemen with 17 goals (all of Buffalo's defensemen only combined for 19 goals last year), 21st in pts and 26th best +/-. Johnie Gaudreau 84 points ranked 16th among ALL forwards. And we need to think about his trade, OMW. Then we also get Frolik, someone needs to have their brain readjusted if they would refuse this trade. Buffalo has two good centers and can afford to make this trade.
Let's make a deal!! cheers
