Galchenyuk had 50 points playing on a terrible team. Beau only came alive playing with Barzal. A 1 for 1 trade heavily favors the Islanders.

We arguably had the best second line in hockey when Beau slotted in there. I'd rather not mess with chemistry. A swap where Nelson is the centerpiece is definitely something I'd prefer

Domi is everything Chucky's not and right now that's what we need.

he's a playmaking 2 way forward with more consistent faceoffs then chucky had 3 years in(and chucky had Eller mentoring him ,Domi had Brad Richardson a older converted winger)

Domi isnt the force on PP Chucky was but Chucky isnt the force everywhere else that Domi is .

Chucky that year was a huge part of the problem .

he scored 22 points in 23 games to finish the season that year after a HORRIBLE year from him
if not for him catching fire after Pacioretty's hot streak of 23 points in 23 games i doubt he would have hit 40 .

i love Chucky but if it isnt on the PP he'll cost you more then he'll help you and anyone who's watched him his whole career like i have will back that up.
watched him score his first goal on 4th line with Prust-Gallagher until after christmas break his first year then get premoted to third where he spent much of his best hockey
playing beside Eller who has a Pedigree of a Coach . Chucky is Lazy , Parties WAY to much and i find it hilarious the guy he got kicked off MTL's team DSP not only won a Cup this year as a key part of the run with 2 GWG's and the tying goal in the final cup game .

MTL's moved out to many players pretending Chucky was the Solution.
The reality is we should have flipped him when Zabinjeb was available and OTT was desperate for help with goal scoring on the PP
