Description
A very high AAV for Nylander, but that's the only way to pry away an RFA. Colorado can afford it and the pick compensation isn't bad assuming they stay a playoff team.

    As an avs fan I say wait until next year and offer sheet marner when they are going to struggle to pay all their guys, I think Toronto would take the picks and give you a big kiss for solving their salary issue for next year

    Waaaaaay too much for Nylander, both in salary and in compensation. I agree with JeffW it would be better to wait and hit TOR the following year for Marner.

    Wouldn't cripple the Leafs at all. Leafs have let's say up to 7m slated for Nylander. OK the Leafs don't have Nylander but now they have 7m to spend on another player. Plus those picks, gee with Colorado could be a lottery pick.
