2018-19 Sabres

Created by: kempjl01
Team: 2018-19 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 18, 2018
Published: Jun. 18, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Trades:

O'Reilly Trade:

The O'Reilly trade is something that would work well for both teams while yes Vancouver is giving up a lot, they are in return getting a talented C. Giving up a prospect in Dahlen and Juolevi (Who reminds me of Maata which connects to GMJB) would work out well and a 7th overall pick which we know this team loves to build through the draft. Bailey is more of a consolation in the trade.

Risolainen Trade:

(First off never was a fan of his, Liked Zadorov more but the system rushed him) Anyways this is more unlikely to happen to a young D man who could pair with Bogo or Guhle on a second paring. But a return in RNH is not a bad deal I did have Draisaitl here but I mean crazier things do happen Hall or Larson. Darnell Nurse gets a new chance in a new city.

TB good
BUF good
VAN you lost me dude, how does that make sense for vancouver to do? like take out the 1st the maybe, but vancouver wants to draft with that pick and it doesnt make sense for them to get older, theyd just waste ROR. if this were 2010 and the sedins were still studs, yes. but you dont trade for a 27yo and trade away 2 20yo when rebuilding. big no from vancouver

I Agree it is a lot, however it is in my eyes what the Sabres are looking for, realistically I think the return would be Dahlen and 7th overall pick

As a Sabres fan, I think this is gross...this team wouldn't be any better.

The LW depth chart is downright terrible.

No but this team isn't about quick fix Free Agency, its about the future and the LW pipeline is promising, clearly as a "Sabres fan" you know nothing
