So I have the year in 2019-2020 so I could do the new contracts for a bunch of players and was able to fit Seguin, Tavares, and Panarin all on one team. Fair value for Panarin?

for panarin it would be around heiskanen and janmark would be fail for both sides, you will be giving up a top prospect at least.

I think most people would question why JT signed for only 10 million. I know its 10 million, but a player of his value isnt signing for 10 million on the open market. He will be the highest paid player in the NHL next season.

There's only one player on the Stars I like for Panarin. He's also going to be a UFA at the end of this season, he's also been traded before, and if you sign Tavares you can hypothetically afford to give him up.

I think CLB would want maybe a one for one, someone that can step in Panarin's. Them trading him makes them worse in the now if it's for what you are offering, I think they still want to compete and he was their best player last year offensively. In terms of overall value for a trade though you are not far off, I just don't think it's what CLB is looking for.

With all the team that could be bidding on John Tavares, There's no way he settles for $10 million per, Probably closer to McDavid money at $12.5 million or slightly lower.

That would be one scary a** offensive team bro.....
I was going thru ur team the other day for team by team trade possibilities , and HOLY F do yinz have a sh*t ton of prospects bro.... Why dont Dallas use them and win now with Benn and Seguin ??
What do u think of G- Oettinger's future or Heiskanen's future?

Heiskanen will be ready to go this year 100% and oettinger will be a starter in a few years

TBF no state income tax in Texas. Jamie Benn makes the most in the NHL after taxes on his 9.5 million cap hit. I expect Dallas would have to overpay, but they don't have to pay as much as other teams. Agents are smart enough to do the math.

      FYI there is no methot.

Only player we want for Panarin is Seguin. We'll even add for him. We're in win now mode with Werenski coming off his ELC and Bob (and Panarin if he doesn't re-sign) looking at a major raise. Soon PLD will get a bigger contract and then our window will start to close. Time to make a run for us is these next 3-4 years. We don't want/need picks and prospects. And if you guys get JT you can afford to trade him.
