It’s not bad. Honestly. I’m not like everyone else. I think we should be moving panarin not in a 1 for 1 superstar trade. But we should be looking for a team to take him on that has a lot of depth pieces for us so we can rebuild our depth and hopefully get to where we need too be. Columbus has never really had amazing depth. We’ve had good but not cup winning depth. This i think pushes us towards that. Maybe look at the deadline for a good rental too send us over the top

Can’t see CBj holding onto him past the draft if they’re truly going to trade him and instead moving him mid season, unless you guys end up outside the playoffs. He’s too big of a piece to move on from at that point, especially fighting for a playoff spot in my opinion. So i think it’s either this week or he plays out the season as a blue jacket

Definitely. I think it’d be more difficult trying to find that straight up move so instead trying to have panarin fill more than 1 hole as compared to only one is out best option to get the best return

Truly think this is going to be an entertaining draft, there’s a lot of players that could be moving

Definitely. I think atleast 2 if not more big names will be moving. Possibly panarin and Karlsson/o Reilly.

Honestly I’m not wild about the Wennberg trade, he could become a very good center, you’re also trading Carlsson who’s plotted to be a solid top 4 dman for an older wing who can score but has one year left on his deal, and an okay third line center. Also lost of moving parts so I’m not sure how the chemistry would do in the locker room. And you really think depth is the problem? I though it was a problem that we only had one game breaker and needed another to make 2 good offencive lines and not just one, that being said last year I though we have a number one line and 3 third lines who didn’t produce......

That Calgary trade is not good for the CBJ. Trading Panarin is ok but moving Anderson? Not exactly what the CBJ need to do. I personally don’t think that Calgary matches up with our needs. Dallas is getting fleeced in that trade. And Wennberg is better than Patches. I would keep Wennberg.

You took CGY's 2nd and 3rd line centers. I don't see them giving them up even.

The trade is intriguing but I did a mock roster and it wiped us out down the middle so I went with a different version replacing Backlund with Brodie. Not sure if you folks need him but I appreciated the out-of-the-box thinking on this trade.
