as a 1-way contract he will be subject to waivers, wonder if he or CM35, are part of a package

He'd be subject to waivers anyway. 1-way contract has nothing to do with it.
GeraltofRivia and Banks liked this.

Pickard cleared waivers last year and was the backup with Marlies. When a team makes a waiver claim the player has to remain on the NHL roster or else he goes on waivers again. Do you Pickard is worth of being # 2 in Detroit.

Have you seen Detroit's goalie depth? Yes he would be the perfect backup goalie for us. He has experience being the starter for a team with terrible defence, really good stats as Colorado's back up and at the WC, and still young for a goalie. Low risk, high reward and we don't have to give up any assets.

Good contract for a goalie that proved that he can work at the nhl level (behind a terrible team in COL)...as my ahl goalie. Nothing wrong with that.
