I hate to see Parayko go, but I like the trade. Tarasenko alongside McDavid is scary (beats the hell out of Ty Rattie!), but would be damned cool to watch from a distance. Also, Tarasenko has a NTC that goes into effect next year and he does not fit well with Schwartz & Schenn. If there was a way to get Draisaitl without giving up Tarasenko, I'd give it a good hard look, but I don't see how that would happen.

Draisaitl is young with a high ceiling, a better option than ROR. I really like D. Nurse and Bear (I don't think that you can do this deal without getting a RHD back). Add Puljujarvi and I'd take this deal in a heartbeat. Might even kick in a LHD or waive the draft pick.

Wait what? Schenn/Schwartz/Tarasenko were the top line in the NHL last year until Schwartz was hurt. He fit perfectly with them. He's a legit top 10 forward in the NHL. He's not moving lol
