My favorite part of this is that you think you're getting more for Pacs than the sabres are getting for ROR.

Buffalo will probably be getting another high end prospect in a deal like this

Not necessarily as 2019 1st can be Mid-1st (similare than Pacc one) and next year should be another good depth-draft.
Lekhonen is a great young TOP-6 player that would improved Buff defensive zone + adding 20G.
I can switch 12OA instead of 2019 1st in the ROR trade... is it more fair?

BUF says no if #3 OA, Drouin or Pacioretty are not coming back in part of the deal

ROR and Scandella/McCabe or Guhle for Drouin

MB can't do this has he gave Sergachev for Drouin... he would look like he made a mistakes and need to redo-it!

Idk I’d have to look into Bitten and Verbeek as I don’t know them well. I was thinking Scherbak, Poehking, or Evans but that’s just because those are the three I know

sorry bud 13 goals in 77 games is not elite especially in all caps. canadiens already have pacioretty, domi and scherbak on LW and they have no Center and BUF has no LWs so the trade makes sense. But the funny thing is that Bergevin DID make a mistake so why not try and rectify it by getting the center that they so desperately need. Habs are in win now mode with their franchise players Price, weber and patches getting up there in age so they can get a center that can play big mins in both ends and win a ton of draws which drouin couldnt.

Yhea I get it but doesn't make sense IMO.
I was thinking too that the Habs window was there for the next 3-4 years but after this season... let's rebuilt for a stronger better base.
Again: ROR + Scand for 3OA & Drouin... I wouldn't personally do it... but maybe Berg would say yes :-)

When you said Prospect I went for real young guys... We can indefinably add Scherback or Lindgren (Evans & Poehling are our only C almost NHL ready that could MAYBE fits on 2C in 2 or 3 years)

Gotcha. If you get Oreilly though, you may not need both Evans and Poehling... you’ll have the one, Danault, and possibly Kotkaniemi

By trading Galchenyuk... and now Paccioretty... we need some high-scoring touch= Zadina or Tkatchuk... @ 3OA I don't think we can passed on them...
