    That’s actually a pretty fair trade with Carolina, credit to you for that. Only thing I see wrong with it would be maybe a 4th rounder rather than a second coming with Lindholm. And from a standpoint that has nothing to do with the value being exchanged I think Carolina wants to buy forwards with defenseman not buy defence with forwards so I doubt they’d do this deal.

    But Carlson will get more money than that, like 7.5 at minimum and if JVR is playing in Canada it will be in Toronto, nowhere else .

    Don't think Lindholm is a fit at all in a trade. Canes are short of forwards and have plenty of Dmen.

    u crazy to think the flames would trade both brodie and bennet for lindholm.
    Maybe bennet straight up for lindholm is more realistic

    I'd do that trade with Carolina for lindholm. I'm a fan of his and I think he'd look great on the first line in Calgary.

    Bennett for lindholm one for one is no where close to equal. Bennetts trade value is pretty low right now we'd be lucky to get a late 1st rounder for him and lindholm will fetch way more then a late first rounder.
