Description
Eichel - "C" switches to #9

O'Reilly is traded to Carolina, for what I feel is a pretty accurate value. Skinner can play first line minutes with Eichel, and can score, replacing Kane. Faulk is an offensive defense-man, something we already have in Ristolainen. However, I do not see this trade working with Hanifin without giving up more assets or draft picks. Faulk will help the defensive core, can help take minutes away from Ristolainen, and help ease Dahlin into his role and into the NHL.

Trading for Nuge fills the hole O'Reilly will leave. Mittlestadt may not be ready to fill a second line center role, so this will provide him with support, and allow him to grow into that role. By drafting Dahlin and trading for Faulk, McCabe becomes expandable.

Van Riemsdyk is a proven scorer, and can fit into a second role LW nicely on a line with Nuge feeding him the puck.

Not enough return for RNH.
In a few reports it states that Botterill is shopping O'Reilly to try and add age appropriate players for Eichel, and Dahlin.
Not many scoring wingers are on the open market so to get guys to go to the worst team in the league you are going to have to overpay, and you're at least a mil under fair market value

I think you are overpaying in the carolina trade. Faulk has regressed. Drop the picks out. I think there are probably better deals for ror but its not awful without the picks. I would wait til the end of the summer before i pulled the trigger on this.

This is a playoff team. Only thought, JVR is going to need more, so you'll have to get rid of Bogo's contract somehow

I don't see anyone taking it though.. any thoughts? And I agree, I think this would be a good team, possible playoff team
