I dont think the Bruins are short one forward. Thats how their fourth line was last year and it was one of the best 4th lines in Hockey.

Roster size is 23 you have 22, you can do it, minimum is 20, most teams, B’s included, healthy scratch 2 fw and 1 d .

I have no idea what team they would trade Backes too, but apparently some have interest. Arizona is just an example really. I like Heinen with Krejci and Bjork because it gives some defensive acumen to that line. Donato doesn't have that defensive instinct yet in the NHL and Bergeron/Marchand can carry that slack. Also with Donato's offensive instincts that line could do some damage. Bjork, Donato and a struggling defensive Krejci would be a risky move in my opinion but not unreasonable. And I agree I think Tavares will get 12 in the end. I was hoping not but I could seem him getting even more than 12 now.
