Not overvaluing, just simply believing in them to fulfill their potential and giving them incentive to do so. One down season doesn't change their value. I do like the Pens, though, so won't say anything bad about you guys smile Have a great night!

curious as to why the rangers would consider that deal? give up a 2nd, 3rd, and a player, for a 2nd and hossa's contract.

First of all, I wish. Second of all, the Hawks can't sign any of the three guys you signed without giving up compensation in picks or making a trade because they are RFAs and Nylander is looking at a much bigger deal. Third, these trade values are far off and no other team would accept any of them as they are all in the Hawks favor. But hey, it's a hell of a team. just not gonna happen tho

Exactly...in a perfect world, this would be a great team to put on the ice. Just simply doing this for fun! Honestly, only transaction that could actually play out is Forsberg for McEhlhinney, just because of similarity in contracts and both backup roles. Being a GM is no easy job. I agree, no way New York would agree to taking on Hossa's contract, and all those other transactions. But they got lots of cap space, and I took advantage, lol. Imagining is fun, though! smile
