This is almost the same deal I suggested from Carolina. The only difference is I had Justin Faulk in there instead of Hadyn Fleury. Fleury is a LD and Carolina is short on LD. So I can see Carolina trading away a younger RD like a Trevor van Riemsdyk or Justin Faulk before them trading Haydn Fleury.

I do not think the Pens will trade away two first round picks for that deal or any. The next couple of drafts will be of players that will be coming to age as the Crosby/Malkin era starts coming to an end, so I actually see them putting somewhat of an emphasis on the draft the next 2-3 years.

Yeah that makes sense but the Pens are still going to be competitive for the next few years so 1st round draft picks are going to be more like 2nd round picks. You can still build through the draft by trading away your first round picks. I mean unless you have a top 15 or better draft pick.
