Before anyone says it, I know Hossa can go on LTIR but there seems to be this continuous belief that there is still a negative impact on the team cap from his contract. People keep mentioning him in trade scenarios (media people) but if there was ZERO effect, why bother right? There must be something that Chicago benefits from by moving his contract.

So, with that said, what would the cost be for Anisimov if Hossa is included?

For Columbus I'd take Dubois instead of Wennberg. He finished as their number 1 center plus that whole french speaking thing.

Yeah no **** sherlock.

That's the reason why they wouldn't trade him....... Even Wennberg is a stretch but given how bad Dubi was last year, there might be a deal to be made that gives CLB a ton of cap space.

I just don't see it. TBL is a division rival and also Callahan has a full NMC so I think he stays put unless bought out. I doubt TBL would move Johnson to MTL even if they got rid of Callahan in the process.

You're on to something, some of could done as you suggest. I like the Winnipeg deal though Perrault is better winger than centre. Dubinski and has NMC probably eliminates that deal, but the rest, worth a shot.

Even if MTL took Dubinsky, it would be quite steep. Wennberg played through a lot of injuries last season. Wennberg still projects as a player who can get 60 points. If I had to put a price to it, probably Gallagher, Juulsen and may be a 3rd round pick. But even then still don’t think the Jackets go for it.
