First 2 are good for both teams

Avs would likely get more than that for Varly, i do think they should trade him and bring back Bernier for 3 years 3m-3.5m. They would be better off

I like these deals alot. I just dont see the Habs trading a 1st though during a rebuild though.

Agreed , 2nd would do it for sure. But if they miss out on a center in free agency they might grudgingly give up the 1st, might have to send a 3rd back their way

Probably right, I’m guessing Bernier is gone in FA. Well I’m hoping the Canes can actually get a FA goalie to push Darling. Without better goaltending- nothing else really matters.

Why Mtl would give a 1st pick (probably top 10) for a 3rd center? We already have a Rask copy with Danault...

Ya, didn’t like the Darling move last year at the time they did it. Big reason why Francis was “promoted”

Not sure what the answer is. Hutton would be nice. But he could be another Darling too. Last season may have been an outlier way off the career norms.

Maybe Blues part with Allen in Skinner deal, doubt it. Pens want Skinner. Tristan Jarry would be nice. Faulk to Leafs for pick and Sparks maybe.

Goaltending has been their issue for years. Nobody here in Canes country wanted to admit it, but Ward hasn’t been good for a while. Darling made him look like amazing last year.
