GMBots says nothing to see here keep on walking Marc...... that offer is not even close.

The rumor is he is looking for a 1st, 2nd, and a very good prospect. I’m just thinking we will be landing a better prospect than Lindgren

Dreger mentioned that today a 1st, 2nd & Top Prospect if the deal is before July 1st.... after July 1st the price goes up due to the Sabres paying the $7.5 bonus.

GMBots knows that Marc is backed into a corner with Lindgren..... he signed Price to the LONG term contract which mean Lindgren is BLOCKED and not going to the the Montreal #1 Goalie...... by signing Price he create a downward pressure on the market value and GMBots realizes this so he is going to use that in his overall ask...... GMBots is confident he will be able to attract a FA or make a deal for a goalie that will not cost him a kings ransom (Hutton, Anderson, et al) because the Sabres can offer that goalie a shot at being the #1...... any current #2 would jump at the chance to bet on themselves......

There is no reason for GMBots to take Lindgren as a keep component of the deal.

Yeah, all of this is true. Plus i dont wanna spend anything on a goalie, including assets to go get him.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better AHL starter ready to make the jump. Lindgren is a fantastic left handed goalie. But, Im wrong.

U could be 100% bang on..... I an not stating that Lindgren is or is not a top goalie.... all I did was state what I believe would be the thinking of any GM when it came to Lindgren and the corner that Marc has painted himself into..... you want to make it about Lindgren's talent.......
