Moulson is owed 3 million. But one million is a signing bonus on 7/1. Trade him after the bonus, no need to retain salary.

His five million hit is more valuable to ottawa. Something tells me they're going to have a hard time reaching the floor.

I hope Botterill isn't such an idiot to trade ROR for Blais and Thompson.

The first and second are not very attractive from a team like St. Louis. Blais and Thompson aren't a very good prospect.

a 19 year old who played 41 NHL games and has size and skill and a 22 year old LW (which we desperately need) who also has size and skill who has put up points in the AHL and is still only Reinharts age?

STL just missed the playoffs and are somewhat aging, who is to say this isn't a lottery pick?

Thompson is not Thomas or Kyrou, St. Louis fans trade him right and left in any deals. Blais hasn't shown anything yet, we have the same CJ Smith.

CJ Smith isn't 6'2" 205, and we can use both.

I do not look at their size, it is not always a sign of quality. Yes, at the level of the AHL, he's good, but at the level of NHL is unknown.

We could do this all night. I went for 2 good prospects rather than one really good prospect. proving things in the AHL to me is more impressive than proving things in the OHL, which is all Thomas and Kyrou have at this point.

Thomas = Mittelstatd. Full of examples, where the player in the AHL shows good results, and to gain a foothold in the NHL can not. I do not understand, we are again going to take the last place? To trade ROR for futures.
