All kinds of nope. Nylander can net the Leafs much better players than Tanev and a bunch of scrubs. And yes Tanev is the only player worth a damn in that trade. Stretch and Boucher wouldn't even make the Leafs and Tanev can be had for a 1st and Martin. You'd get the first for taking Martins salary back.

You just can't get an elite offensive young talent for a stay at home defencemen and a bunch of other players.

If you wanted Nylander it would likely cost one of your priced forward prospects (Not Petterson), Tanev and a 1st for Nylander.

Boucher isnt much, but stetcher is still a decent dman, and would definitely be a solid top 6 guy for TOR. but i do agree not enough for Nylander. maybe with Juolevi it would work, but i wouldnt want to do that as a canucks fan tbh. id rather see what he turns into instead of trading him.

hes worth a late 1st for sure, Tanev is on a bad team, in 2015 when they made the playoffs tanev was the best dmam on the team, the canucks just suck right now and everyones stats are taking a beating from it

Okay maybe take the picks out and it’s a fair deal

think you've made a mistake in your post, leafs get the first rounder. leafs have plenty of strechers, don't need another the reason that leafs might trade nylander is to gain cap space, not to take 4.4m back in Tanev.

No I just don't want to say it's terrible. Trying to give some contrusctive advice but there is no way that's fair.

There is absolutely zero chance of the Canucks getting Nylander. Or Liljegren. Tanev would net the canucks a first and a prospect if they take martin's contract as well. If they don't take his contract he'll get the Canucks a 2nd rounder. He offers little offence and has a history of injuries, he isn't Drew Doughty.

leafs would't give liljegren or nylander also Jim Benning is youre GM. also 2015 was 3 years ago so we dont know what he is but we know hes not worth a 60+ point scorer in nylander
