they can easily sign a 4th line C for cheap in FA. sheahan is better option than brassard for 3rd line C.

If the pens were going to trade Brass, they would have signed Riley to a longer term deal.
The only way that isn't true is if they get the winger at a huge discount and they bring in someone like Bozak.
After goalie, center is the most important position in the game, they aren't going to let themselves get weaker down the middle.

Highly doubt JR is ready to shut the door on the Brassard trade after only half a season. They brought him here to finish out his contact, would be surprised if he doesn't.
