Fixing C:

With Stastny probably re-signing in Winnipeg, Little is likely on his way out, and with his 6 years @ $5.2 mil his value isn't high. Zibanejad is a good option to explore as a 1C for the Habs. I don't think the value is that far off, but with the rivalry between the Habs and Rangers it's doubtful this happens.

Trading Patches and Byron:

Patches for Sprong and a 2nd is a fair deal. Patches plays with Crosby or Malkin and scores 35 goals. Sprong steps in as a bottom six winger, but he can score goals. Byron is coming off of two 20+ goal seasons in a row, sell high while you can.

Zibanejad is untouchable according to most sources as New York's views on him are super high. But even if you got him, I doubt this team makes the playoffs with Claude's system unless Mete develops a ton in one offseason and doesn't get bodied as often due to his size.
