You're not even in the running (at this point) for Tavares, so based on that "NOT reasonable at all!

I understand we aren't signing JT, that's why I asked if it was reasonable, not if it is realistic because this isn't realistic

those trades are way way way off.
First of all Krug isn't worth the pens giving up sprong. They don't need that 5 mil cap hit for a guy who really isn't much of an upgrade.

Second that nashville trade is a joke. Like they are going to trade Hörnqvist who's on a really good contract for a 1 year rental player. Go back to nashville with that.

Pens would be lucky if Nashville accept that trade, and Krug is a huge upgrade over Matta

Hornqvist is way too valuable to trade. He is irreplaceable. Sheahan is a good depth center, and Shultz is a solid 2nd pairing dman. They are giving up way too many important parts for Ellis... And then what happens if Ellis does not want to sign an extension with them? There goes Shultz and Hornqvist and then the team is in trouble

In two years time Hornqvist is going to be overpayed, that 5 year deal Jim gave him is the worst move he has made, Simon can play 4c, Ellis is a lot better than Shultz, and okay then Nashville signs then trades him.

In 2 years, Hornqvist is still going to be the heart of the team and the guy who changes the game with his energy and hustle. The cap will continue to go up every year, so his contract is not an issue. Extending him was a great move and you can just tell him important he is to the team. Sheahan blows Simon out of the water. Ellis is a lot better than Shultz, but Shultz is a good player. That trade is bad for the pens. 3 key players is a lot better than 1 good player
