Personally, I think trading Nylander (and his salary) for a solid RD would be the long term solution with Hainsey and Gardiner most gone after next season.......guys like Manson, Montour, Dumba are the most common Leaf fan likes for that position......Ryan Ellis, Colton Parayko, Tyson Barrie and Colin Miller would be real nice fits as well.......you have to give to get and Nylander would be most likely to go in my opinion

I think the Leafs would like Tanev.....he would be a good fit but not for Nylander.....more likely Connor Brown plus a prospect (or mid rd pick) would be more realistic. Maybe Tanev for Brown and Neilson or Rosen
