How long till Hart is ready?

The current plan is for him to play in the AHL for all of next season. He only turns 20 in August.

Okay I was going to say seems like phillys only major issue is goaltending and they easily have the best goalie prospect. Maybe Samsonov but Hart is crazy good

He says his goal is to win an NHL roster spot out of training camp. I don't think that happens but I wouldn't be surprised if he's up by the end of the season. There's no way Neuvirth and Elliott stay healthy all season.

I just can't get overly excited over Hart. Goalies are just way too unpredictable and there are many cases of goalies who were incredible in the juniors and never panned out in the NHL.

Elliot and neuv aren’t that great and instead of wasting picks at the deadline I would just give the kid a shot. If he sucks trafe for Holtby next season. Caps fans on here are very high on samsonov

There's never been someone as incredible in juniors as Hart was.

If his draft year had of been last year, he would have gone top 5.

Yeah, I am aware of his ridiculous save percentage, it's just that when you look at the best goalies of the WHL by year, most of those guys were never very good in the NHL or didn't even make it at all. I expect him to be really good anyway, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the savior that the Flyers fans are expecting him to be.
