Montreal fan here, ratting based solely on Byron deal.

I would make this trade. Might push for a different player or replace with another pick in return, as we are loaded with wingers at the moment.

I thought this was a good deal for both teams - Montreal is the smallest team in the NHL & Foligno has been a top 5 hitter his whole career. On the other hand Byron could give us one good year for a cup push! What would you want in return for patches?

I could be wrong on this one, but I doubt Anaheim would go for that trade. Gibson still being 24 and a great goalie + Kesler for an aging Dubnyk seems a bit lopsided

Pacioretty, depends on if its a sign and trade, or just a rental.

I would hope for a young center with top 6 potential being the key to either of those returns.

I don't think NYI wants Nino back, even if they have new management and especially not for Lee. Also why is Lee at center? He hasn't played center at all during his NHL years and he's already in his prime, switching him there now would possibly diminish his production. You're going to have to give them a center since that's their real need now. I want nothing to do with another "project player" in Sam Bennett, especially after the whole Ennis ordeal. We're better off flipping Spurgeon elsewhere. I also don't think the ANA trade makes sense. Kesler is a really good LTIR candidate so trading for him makes no sense (it was rumored he might not play at all next season). Gibson is due for a huge payday next season so why trade someone with term on their contract in Dubnyk to be more strapped with cap?
