Pasternak should be the comparison and he had a much better year then Marner, his contract year, putting up 80 points. Marner had only 69.. So, if you factor in the signing of other big contracts the team needs to do, the slight hometown discount, a longer 8 year term, and hes a winger. He wont get anywhere close to Matthews/Tavares who will likely have similar contracts.
